Alex continues to grow and fill out. Our home scale has him weighing almost 11 pounds. We will get a better number when he goes to the doctor on May 4th.
I have hung some toys from the bar on his pack n' play and he now has an activity gym. He likes to look at the toys and bat at them. He also kicks his legs a lot. He has started making some vocalizations that are not crying. I am thinking that this is the beginning of cooing.

Wow - that is so funny. John is starting to do a lot of the same things in the office now; cooing, batting his arms and legs, etc.
I'm not sure, but I also think he is also starting to recognize some of his co-workers. Neal thinks that John will be able to see colors in the next 4-5 years, but I don't think that has been scientifically proven yet. Only time will tell.
